The NY Daily News has a story about congressman John Sweeney knocking his wife around so much that she called 911.Rep. Don Sherwood, a Republican in northeastern Pennsylvania, said in a TV ad that he was "truly sorry" for cheating on his wife, but he denied ever abusing his mistress. I don't even have to mention Mark Foley chasing teenage boys.
The Republican claim of supporting family values raises one question: What exactly are those values?
